CSRL Game 5: Super Lions bowlers ran havoc in CC Wettingen-II batting camp, limiting the team on a meagre total of 62/7 in 17.5 Overs.

1st Innings: Super Lions were invited to Bowl

On a sun blazing afternoon, even before the toss, CC Wettingen-II was unfortunately running into trouble as they had to play only with 8 players. Both teams wanted to Bat first to give their bowlers some rest, but it’s the toss that does not favour Super Lions Captain Loki. Loosing the toss and was asked to ball by the opponent, Super Lions bowler Adil made an early inroad by clinching two back-to-back wickets in the 4^th over (7-1 (Vasriv, 3.3 ov), 7-2 (Bhuwan 3.4 ov). Srini sent Faizan in the 5 over, and suddenly CCW-II were 7-3.

It was not looking very bright for CCW-II, Fazal and Mujeeb added 33 runs partnership and tried to give some stability but at a very crucial time, Fazal was superbly bowled by Sam in the 12^th over, CCW-II score was 40-4. From this point on, Super Lions bowlers did not let any batter allow to spend time on the pitch. CCW-II wicket kept tumbling 51/5 (12.3 overs), 57-6 (14.5 overs) and the last wicket at 62-7 in 17 overs.

2nd Innings: KP and Umair, blistering knock, Super Lions won by 10 Wickets

Knowing the target and unpredictability of the bounce on the wicket, Super Lions knew that its very much their game, and with the right attitude and strategy Super Lions openers KP and Umair, did not allow CCW-II bowlers to settle, scoring above 8 Runs over. Umair was keeping one end guarded, and KP from the other was blistering and all fired up. They chased the target comfortably in 7.3 overs and won the game by 10 wickets.
