Super Lions faced another defeat in the CSRL. Following on last Sunday defeat against RCC by 180 odd runs, Super Lions batter failed utterly and managed 59/10 in 20 overs. WCC captain and bowler Harsha, was declared MVP with is exceptional bowling figures (Overs 7.1 / Maiden 0 / Runs 19 / Wickets 5).

Result: ZSLCC lost by 8 Wickets
For the first time in this Season 2024, Super Lions was batting first and with a clear head and a total in mind, openers Loki and Minal came to face the WCC bowling. But WCC bowler undone all the Super Lions batter thought as wickets started to crumble from the 2nd over. At 6 overs, Super Lions had lost their half side and scored was 16/5. It was now clear the picture as, with this debacle Super Lions could not go anywhere but finally managed to cross the 50 runs mark. By starting of 20th over, it was game over for Super Lions with 59/10 was the final score.
WCC openers were set to finish the game in no time. Howerver, Shinwari brought the 1 breakthrough with an exceptional catch by Jaspal, and score showed 7/1. Sara, got the second wicket and WCC were looking a little tangled standing at 9/2 in 2.3 overs. Super Lions was upto the mark to challenge WCC and atleast make it hard to chase the target, but the young WCC batter Usman (33/27 balls), scored in boundaries with opener Randull (21/25 balls). Usman finished the game in style with a huge Six.
WCC were in complete control of the game and no point let Super Lions to breath easy. Harsha showed exceptional figures with 5fer. With this 4th back to back defeat, Super Lions are at the bottom of CSRL table and 4 more games to go.
Hopefully, Super Lions will come come hard and bring some challenge for the opponent.
