Under the overcast conditions, Lions won the toss and decided to ball first in their 2nd CSPL game of Season 2019.
Due to a bad weather, match was played under testing circumstances.With the complete wet outfield and continuous drizzling, it was really tough time for both bowlers and batsmen.
Due to rain, 5 overs were reduced to finish the game on time. Atiq (22/4), Senthil (25/2), Reza and Kanishk made sure that ZLCC will have to chase the modest target of 150 in 35 overs.
Rain kept interrupting Lions batting and at the end of 18 overs Lions scored 101/4 and won by 23 runs on the basis of Flat Run-Rate. Omed batted superbly and scored Not out 28 runs to win the game for Lions.
